Hitachi Construction Machinery is looking for a skilled and motivated ICT Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our organization’s IT infrastructure and systems.

What you will be doing

  • 3rd line support & administration of ICT systems:
  • Maintain and liaise with suppliers on support & infrastructure systems & services e.g. ServiceNow, HCM IT, Vodafone, KPN, Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
  • Performance of support and infrastructure compliance activities and management processes; license management, HITCO2, ISO, ITIL.
  • Support implementation of IoT devices, connecting IoT device to the IT Infrastructure and making sure its compliant with Hitachi Security Policy.
  • Create and maintain documentation, standards, procedures manual and IT e-leanings.
  • Ensure IT security and compliant for support and infrastructure in collaboration with the IT compliance officer and IT suppliers.

What you will need to succeed

  • MBO level 4 in IT Administration
  • Knowledge of MCSE & CCNA
  • Knowledge of Azure environment, ESX, infrastructure, PBX, architecture, server management, cloud
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar IT role
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment & with outsourced services
  • Proficient in English language, verbal & written, Dutch & other European languages is a plus

Education & Experience

Strong understanding of Java 8, Microservices, Spring-boot, API Development and AWS
Proficient in Core Java /J2EE technologies & Spring framework Experience in Pair programming

Must Have

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Experience using Docker to package and deploy web applications
  • Experience with cloud-based web services and database systems (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Familiarity with server-side programming (e.g. Node.js, Python)
  • Experience customizing Content Management Systems
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Background in user experience and/or design
  • Involvement in open source projects
